Early diagnosis saves lives
Whether large or small, your organisation can make a massive difference to APS Suppork UK either through direct donations, raising awareness, helping us print some of our materials, donating gifts in kind or by making us your Charity of the Year.
Supporting a worthwhile cause through the workplace can help build teamwork, motivate, spread life-saving awareness, generate great PR and make a real difference.
Companies who do operate a Charity of the Year programme tend to involve its staff from the start of the process, and its employees are invited to nominate a charity they have some kind of relationship with. So, if you or your family or friends have been affected by APS, please nominate us if you can.
Another way companies can help boost staff morale and provide us with essential funds is to offer Matched Giving. Many companies operate this powerful and popular scheme where they will match their employees’ donations through payroll giving or fundraising activities, pound for pound.
To find out if your company operates a Matched Giving scheme, please contact your Human Resources or Personnel Department.
Many of the larger corporations also encourage workplace giving and volunteering through the Benevity platform. Our charity is already registered so please do ask your company to sign up with us.
There are many ways that employers and employees can get involved in the workplace. Here are just some of the companies that have helped us already, so why not join them too?
The payroll giving scheme or "Give As You Earn", is a simple, tax effective way to give to charity directly from your pay. Ask your HR department if your company runs a scheme.
